Winter Romance

According to Webster’s dictionary, Winter is defined as “the season the coldest season of the year, in the northern hemisphere from December to February and in the southern hemisphere from June to August”.  In short, it’s cold outside.

According to Webster’s dictionary, Romance is defines as “a feeling of excitement and mystery associated with love”. In short, the lovey dovey things we do with our honey to feel special.

SO LET’S PUT THEM TOGETHER AND HAVE SOME FUN!!!!!!!!!

Winter is a wonderful time to get cozy with your honey. It’s cold outside. All of the leaves have fallen off of the trees. Beautiful white snow is falling from the sky creating a beautiful white blanket on the ground. What better way to spend this time with you honey than to get romantic. Now, what to do? Below are Kea’s Top 5 Winter Romance Ideas.

1.       Start a Fire! In areas where it isn’t below freezing a nice camp fire can set the mood off right. My honey and I enjoy setting a fire in the fire pit and cuddling up together around the fire with a blanket some wine, and our love. I know, corny right? However corny it may be, it never fails to spark a feeling of love, excitement, and romance.  There something about his strong arms wrapped around me and keeping me warm that feels nice.

2.       Cook Together! Who needs to go out when you can create magic together in your own kitchen? You two, or however you roll, can create wonderful comfort food in the comfort of your own home.  Light candles. Make hot cocoa. Enjoy one another.

3.       Go Ice Skating! I am from Florida and even we have ice skating rinks. It’s a fun way to get those endorphins moving and create that happy place in your brain. Hold hands. Laugh. Have fun. If one of you can’t skate it’s a wonderful opportunity to learn from someone intimately.

4.       Bubble Bath! Take a warm bubble bath together with candles and dim light. Create a romantic mood. Give each other massages.

5.       Let’s Go! Plan a romantic winter get-a-way. Go away and experience adventures that you never have. Ski the slopes. Be a snow bunny. Just live life and enjoy!

I hope his info has been helpful. If you have any questions or Winter Romance ideas of your own please feel free to contact me at keakurviekulture@gmail.com

Texas Winter Romance Ideas

It is indeed that time of year where the birds fly south to warmer weather, bears hibernate, snow boots with the fur are pulled out. Some love the Winter time, while others merely survive it until that first flower blooms signaling Spring time. I'm one of those people who aren't truly happy until the weather is at least 75 degrees or above consistently. However, it seems that Texas didn't get the memo and we might have an actual Winter on our hands, thus...cuddling season is upon us! Here are some romantic tips for the winter (Texas Style)!

When it's cold outside the BEST place to be is inside. Every girl dreams of that romantic night cuddled in front of the fireplace while you gaze into your lover's eyes and share a deep romantic kiss. Well, if that's what you're going for this Winter then have it, unfortunately most of us are not lucky enough to have a fireplace in our home because let's face it...who really needs a fireplace in Texas. I don't! So, the next best thing to do is to find a nice resort or hotel suite that has a fireplace and sneak away for a romantic weekend. You and your honey can pack your bags and escape the realities of the real world for a few days; order some room service, watch movies, and play board games all weekend long just the two of you while at night you cuddle by the fireplace and sip hot cocoa.

Now if you're the outdoorsy type and you would much rather brave the elements and the cold instead of enjoying the luxury of a heated hotel room, grab your man and some wood and head out back for a nice bonfire. When it's just cold enough for a bonfire but not too cold that I won't enjoy myself, I love a good bonfire. Grab me some beer and some lawn chairs and I can sit outside around the fire for hours staring up at the stars and enjoying the company of my honey. You of course could also straighten some wire hangers, grab some graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate and make you some s'mores while you are becoming one with nature. If you don't have any woods or open areas near by for a bonfire then a nice alternative would be to run out to any outdoor store like Home Depot, Academy, or Bass Pro Shop and grab you a fire pit. This safe alternative can be placed on any patio or in any backyard and create the same warm and loving atmosphere.

Ladies, I'm sorry this post is soooooo short but this Texan is at a loss of ideas, I'm not quite used to this whole winter thing but please feel free to post below with more of your winter romance ideas for  your chance to be crowned this week's Kurvie Kueen. And as always you can reach me via email carkurviekulture@gmail.com

LA'S:Family, Food, Fun

Thanksgiving is a time for family, friends and fun. That’s exactly how I spent mine and I couldn’t have asked for a better time. Our plates were full of amazing food and our hearts were full of love. Our tradition for many years has been going black  friday shopping.  Even if we don’t have anything in particular to get we love the hustle and bustle of it all. We pre plan in the month of October and then get the paper ads on thanksgiving.  This year was no different, the only difference was the time in which we went to the stores. We were in the stores by 8am this year and didn’t finish until about 2pm. I scored some great shoes as well as a few gifts for others. I also used a great coupon at kmart and yall know I LIVE to SAVE! Did any of you catch any great deals? Comment here or email me I want to hear all about them. lalakurviekulture@gmail.com

Love and Thankfulness

When I think of Thanksgiving traditions I think of LOVE. My family and friends don’t really have traditions when it comes to particular foods at Thanksgiving. We practice the tradition of TOGETHERNESS! We feel it is important to not be alone and for everyone to get together and have a good time. We are all spread out all over the country and we do our best to join one another in the name of love and have a meal. Thanksgiving is a mixture of friends, family, and new friends.

When it comes to food…WE GO IN! We tend not to lean towards the traditional Thanksgiving fare because, to be honest, we end up having that same food a month later for Christmas. Plus, we are a mixture of different nationalities and childhood traditions that we each bring our own contribution to the table. For instance, I am Jamaican and I often get asked to make a traditional Jamaican dish whether it may be Beef Patties or Ackee and Saltfish. Last year, my aunt hosted and prepared Southern Cuisine such chitterlings with hog maws in addition to ham and collard greens. So as you can tell, being from the islands and being raised in the south has its advantages and provided for an interesting spread on the table.

This year we are getting creative. I live in North Carolina but I was raised in Florida and so were most of the people in my North Carolina circle. One of the main things that we complain about missing is the ability to go to any corner in Florida and have there be a Crab Shack, Crab Joint, Crab House, etc. So this year we are having a Crab Boil/Seafood Feast. We will have crabs, shrimp, fish, crawfish, and all the sides we can come up with that accompany seafood. Let’s not forget about dessert. We will have cake, pies, etc. because who has a feast without dessert?

My point in sharing this with you is that Thanksgiving is about the LOVE you experience with those around you and being thankful for them and all that you have to be thankful for. Create your own traditions and enjoy yourselves.

For any questions, comments, concerns, or even recipes feel free to contact me at keakurviekulture@gmail.com  One Love! Happy Thanksgiving!

Family, Food, and More Family & Food...(My Family's Thanksgiving Traditions)

T
Picture courtesy of Google image search

When I think of Thanksgiving, I think of the Wednesday before in the kitchen helping my mama make her signature German Chocolate Cake and my signature Mac-N-Cheese. When I was younger my job was to read the recipe, keep my mama company, oh and to grease the cake pans. To this day I am the BEST cake pan greaser this side of the Mississippi, not a piece of cake has ever been left in one of my pans! ;-) I have always loved the day before a major holiday more than the holiday itself because I enjoy spending the time with my mama in the kitchen helping her cook and bonding.

I come from a large family, my granny is one of eight children and all eight of them believe in getting together for the holidays. So my granny and her seven siblings have always gathered up all their children in met in their hometown for Thanksgiving, this is a tradition that has continued on every year and every year it grows bigger and bigger, it is now so big that we have to rent a banquet hall to host our annual Thanksgiving dinner. Our dinner consists of two turkeys, two hams, three pans of dressing, a variety of sides (including my Mac-N-Cheese), and a dessert table that would rival any small bakery's selection.

Now some people come for the food, but I love the family atmosphere of it all. I love seeing cousins that I only get to see on holidays and catching up with them. I know this seems crazy in the age of technology where you can find anyone on Facebook but it's just not the same as sitting down at a table away from the parents and sharing the juicy details. It takes us back to a time not so long ago where our biggest worries in life were what we were going to put on our Christmas list and if we were going to get it or not. Every year I cherish the moments with my great aunts and uncles, I listen to their wisdom and enjoy their stories of the simpler times of when they were growing up. I guess I'm just nostalgic like that, I like to think that I get it from my granny.

As always my email is carkurviekulture@gmail.com. I would love to hear what your family's Thanksgiving traditions are, comment below or shoot me an email.

Cheesy Chilli Cornbread Casserole

Fall is here! Halloween is right around the corner. Thanksgiving will be here before you know it. There is a chill in the air and my mama's in the kitchen. In my family, food is how we stay connected. We bond while cooking( YESSSS HUNNY!!! I can throw down in the kitchen). We have staple recipes for every season. One of our favorite recipes came by accident(we let my little brother get creative). To this day, when there is a chill in the air we know that Cheesy Chilli Cornbread Casserole will be on the table to warm us up. It is easy to make and can be altered to accommodate just about any dietary need .Contact me at keakurviekulture@gmail.com for questions or comments!  Enjoy!

Yummy HEALTHY Lasagna!

Hi Loves!

Its been a while but I'm so happy to be back! I have an AMAZING recipe for a healthy lasagna! Its my new favorite dish to make! Being Italian, pasta is a HUGE part of my diet. I was so thrilled to find a recipe that stays true to lasagna, is a healthier alternative, and is made in half the time! So here it goes!

Sami's Skillet Lasagna

You'll Need:
700 mL of red gravy
3 cups water
12oz Lasagna Whole Wheat Pasta (I suggest Ronzoni)
Turkey Sausage or Turkey Ground Meat
1 cup Fat Free Mozzarella Cheese (Shredded)

 1) Get a large skillet and bring the water and red gravy to a boil. Make sure it has a cover or it can get very messy!
2) Break uncooked lasagna pasta into fourths. I use a clean dish towel to help break them so the small pieces don't scatter all over.
3) Let lasagna pasta boil in the gravy and water for 16-20 minutes while covered. You may want to lower the heat to a simmer.
4) While the pasta is cooking bake the turkey sausage or pan fry the turkey meat.
5) Add cooked meat to skillet and stir contents. (Slice sausage first!) Cover and let cook for 5 minutes.
6)  Stir in mozzarella cheese until its melted.

That's it! Scoop and serve! It is a delicious alternative to traditional lasagna! If you have any questions please feel free to email me! Stay Kurvy!

xoxo,
Sami

To Casserole or Not to Casserole...

Fall is here! Fall is here! Bring on the Halloween decorations, Thanksgiving deals, and too soon Christmas decorations. While I'm not too found of the cooler temps and longer garment lengths my favorite part of the fall is the heartier meals. Now me personally I'm not a soup or stew kinda person, but I do love me a good casserole. So, the fall recipe I'm going to share with you is my own version of a Paula Deen (yes I said the P word) classic, "Wild Rice Casserole"...

Wild Rice Casserole
1 Box Wild Rice (Zatarain's or Uncle Ben's)
2 1/2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese (Bag or Freshly Shredded)
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 lb cooked shrimped tail-off, peeled, and deveined
Seasonings (personal preference)

1. Cook rice per instructions on box
2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
3. Thaw shrimp or boil if raw adding seasoning of choice to water for taste
4. After rice is done cooking combine rice, shrimp, soup, and 2 cups of cheese in a bowl, mix together ingredients. All ingredients will be cooked so add seasonings to taste. I use a little cajun seasoning, black pepper, and seasoning salt.
4. Place mixture in a 13 x 9 casserole dish and place in oven. Bake for 20 minutes.
5. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese over top of casserole and bake until cheese is melted.

***This recipe can easily be doubled by simple doubling the quantities listed above. Also, this recipe can be lightened up by using brown long grain and wild rice, healthy request cream of mushroom soup, and 2% cheddar cheese.***

Kea's Fall Fashion Must Haves!!!!

As summer comes to a close it is time to put away the short shorts, sandals, and sleeveless maxi dresses and prepare our closets for FALL!!! I don’t know how it is where all of you beautiful people live, but I live in North Carolina and around here Fall can be a little tricky. We still get the heat of the summer but a little chill from the upcoming winter is in the air in the evenings. How you dress can determine whether you burn up during the day or freeze at night. With that being said, I have compiled a list of my Fall Fashion Must Haves…

1.       Denim Jacket: I have always been a fan of a good denim jacket. As previously stated, it’s warm here in the day and cool at night.  My style is still very summer like during the day with tank tops and Maxi dresses but as the evening rolls in I just add a simple denim jacket to my day time outfit and keep it moving. Denim can be worn with any color or fabric and it can be dressed up or down. So be creative and fun.

2.       Leggings: Of course I couldn’t do a fall must have list without including leggings. They are light weight yet they cover your legs when the weather cools off. They come in a variety of colors, prints, and materials. They can be worn casually or dressed up for an evening on the town.

(Photo courtesy of Pretty Kurves Beautique)

3.       Heel Booties: I LOVE LOVE LOVE a heel bootie. Whether open toe or closed they are sooo cute. I pair these with jeans, leggings, or a cute dress. I love boots in general but there is something about a cute bootie with a heel that makes me happy…plus at 5’1 they make me taller…LOL.

4.       Tunic: A fashionable tunic is very versatile. Available in a variety of styles, colors, and prints. Have a relaxed and casual look with a basic tunic paired with jeans and flats or dazzle it up with a flashy tunic paired with leggings, a belt for a cinched waist, and heel booties. Wear as a cute top or a dress for longer tunics.

5.       Scarves: Now it doesn’t really get cold enough here during Fall for a thick wool scarf but a scarf can be an excellent accessory. I lean towards light weight scarves with print because I usually wear them for fashion purposes instead of warmth. A scarf can be warm in a variety of ways and can add a pop of color or style to the most basic outfit. Wear around your neck or on your head…the choice if yours.  Depending on you location, choose whatever fabric you like. You can be fashionable and warm at the same time.

6.       Leopard: To me leopard is not a print…IT’S A COLOR! I love leopard and I try to incorporate it into any and everything I wear.

I could go on and on but these are my Fall Fashion Must Haves. These are the items I absolutely need to make it through a North Carolina Fall season. Please enjoy and if you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to contact me at keakurviekulture@gmail.com!

Like All Good Things...

Summer must come to an end! Sad face for me because; my birthday has come and gone, I must put away my tank tops and shorts for cardigans and slacks because school has started, and for most other states (not Texas) the temperatures are starting to drop and the hint of fall is in the air. However one good thing about the new season is the new season essentials!!!

1. Leggings/Jeggings/Tights
Yep that is one article of clothing that will not get packed away and forgotten in the back of my closet or bottom of my drawer. Now instead of my blinged out flip-flops, I will be wearing wedged sneakers and flat riding boots with my various leggings, jeggings, and tights.

2. Riding Boots
I have had my eye on riding boots since last season but, I could not find a pair that I couldn't just live without. This year I am going to start searching early because I need the perfect pair to compliment every pair of leggings I own plus all the ones I plan to acquire. Before winter officially finds it's way to Texas I plan to have at least two pair of riding boots, wedged and flat.
Picture from shoedazzle.com via Google Images.

3. Cardigans
It's that time of year again where I have to start layering once again; I'm back behind a desk and in front of a white board all day. My favorite teacher staple is a cardigan in a fun or funky print. I do not plan to tone down my own personal style for the sake of professional fashion, instead I find that fine line where it might to be far and I walk that line.
 4. Palazzo Pants
These pants are my newest obsession. I first saw them when they hit the western scene a few months back and all the cowgirls were wearing them with their flowing shirts and then cinching them, at the waist, with their wide western belts. Then, they started to slowly work their way into mainstream and I was super geeked because that meant that plus size was soon to follow. These pants are amazing and lightweight and super flowy, they flatter all body types and sizes, plus it's like wearing pajamas. Since they're all the rage these pants can be worn casually in your free time or dress them up and wear them to work.

5. Belts
I'm not sure exactly what's going on but at the moment I'm belting everything. I think it may have to do with my new weight loss and wanting to show off my slimmer figure. However, if you are like me and you're on your weight loss journey but haven't had the time to upgrade your wardrobe then belts can be your best friend. They're an inexpensive accessory that instantly changes any outfit. Got a cardigan with no buttons but you don't want it flying open all day? Put on a belt. Got a button down that's a tad bit too big? Put on a belt. Want to show off your newly flattened stomach and emerging waistline? Put on a belt. Whether it's a thin belt, chunky belt, plain belt, or blinged out belt; throw one on and watch your outfit instantly transform.

As always you can contact me via carkurviekulture@gmail.com. I would love to hear from you about your Fall staples!!!

RELATIONSHIPS….

…wen talking about relationships, the spectrum is so broad, but yet ALL relationships with other people mostly have the same foundation. Friendships, family relationships, sexual relationships, spiritual relationships, etc are all based on loyalty, honesty, and respect. To me these are the most important things you can ask for from any relationship.

So let’s start with friendships…

This is a great topic for me at this time because I just ended a 20 year friendship. It took me sometime to realize, or shall I say pay attention to the things that were going on within our friendship. I realize that as people we grow, we change and learn things not only about ourselves but those around us. In this, it is not always good and can prove a person to be other than who we think they are. But then the respect comes into play, at no point is it OK for ANYONE to disrespect YOU and if they will, then you need to rid their presence in your life. I also learned that what a person will say or do to another when they are not around, you better believe they will do or say about you to another when you are not around, and that shows an issue with loyalty, honesty, and respect. Watch and be careful of those you call FRIENDS.

LOYALTY: the state or quality of being loyal; faithfulness to commitments or obligations…

HONESTY: truthfulness, sincerity, or  frankness…

RESPECT: esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person. A personal quality or ability.

I want to hear from you, comment below or email me with your feelings on loyalty, honesty, and respect and what it means to you. Danikurviekulture@gmail.com

Simple Is Not Always Easy

So, as I prepare for school to start in the next few weeks, insert crying face, I have been doing some professional development to get me prepared for the upcoming school year. One of the things that I have been doing is reading this book called, "The Fundamental 5: The Formula for Quality Instruction". In this book there is a section, entitle Simple is Not Always Easy, where it presents this analogy about why diets fail and why some teachers do not meet standards; being the nerd that I am I loved the analogy and decided to "borrow" it for my blog post.

5 Causes of Failed Relationships:

1. Not having a good plan- Now I know in relationships you are supposed to take things as the come and not plan for things to happen either good or bad. However, I feel like you should plan on how much effort or work you're going to put into your relationship. If you plan to put little effort into your relationship and see where it goes, then I can tell you now it will end at the first argument or first problem.

2. Not having the desire- There's nothing worse than being in a relationship that you don't want to be in but you're staying to spare the other person's feelings. If you are not happy, if you are no longer satisfied, if you feel like you need a change of pace and the other person does not then honey DO NOT STAY because it only gets worse not better. Both people involved should want the relationship to change and grow as they grow.

3. Procrastination- (Authors' note*- Address this issue in next blog post about relationships or next relationships.)

4. Not recognizing the opportunity loss- You never know unless you try and you'll never try unless you know. Do not be afraid to try new things with your loved one. If all y'all do is sit around and watch T.V. like an old married couple then you will never realize how much fun couple bonding stuff you're missing out on. Try to get your boyfriend/girlfriend to go try something new that will give y'all a little excitement and quality time as a couple, you can even invite your couple friends.

5. Not having support- Plain and simple! If you want to work on the relationship but your significant other doesn't then you're in a world of trouble.

***I have not always been in the happy place that I am now. But, now that I am here I'm loving it and working hard to keep it. Sometimes it's best to not listen to what your friends or family say if you know that what you have is genuine and real, however if you have your doubts and everyone is confirming your doubts then you need to just go ahead and let go. IT IS NOT BETTER TO HAVE A PIECE OF MAN/WOMAN THAN NO MAN/WOMAN!!!***

Please take the time to post below some of the reasons you feel that relationships fail!!! :-)

Fun in the Sun

ITS SUMMERTIME

I don’t know about you guys, but this is my FAV time of year. The weather is amazing, {although sometimes it gets tooooo hot} there’s so many fun outdoor things to do, no COATS N BOOTS {although Uggs give me life} and I’m a SUMMER BABY… August to be exact. Here’s 3 of my favorite things to do in the summer.

Let’s start with BBQ, summertime is most notorious for BBQ. What better time to spend time with family and friends, and enjoy some good food. Try themed parties. Luau has to be one of my favorites. Some Hawaiian recipes, fruity drinks with cute little umbrellas, leis, and why not throw in some hula. You can’t go wrong.

Camping and cabins are also a fun thing to consider, if you’re an outdoorsy type of person and can deal with the bugs go for it, but I say if you’re like me go with the cabins, because the bugs I can’t deal with. However with both, take some games along or make up some while you’re there. Drinking games bring much excitement. (21 and over) .

Swimming Pools and Beaches. Water is the best!!! Wanna cool down or just have some water fun, just JUMP IN!!!!!!!!  I know some people don’t like the sand, so beaches aren't their preference, so swimming pools are the best bet. Take along some floats, a ball or two, jump off the diving board, have a race or two with friends, splash around a little bit, just enjoy!!!!

And remember its summer, you must Dress CUTE!!! You have no coat or nothing on to kill your vibe or not be able to show off your outfit. MAKE A STATEMENT!!!

NJOII THA REST OF YOUR SUMMER.

I want to hear about your summer time fun. Feel free to email me at Danikurviekulture@gmail.com

Cool Summer Fun Suggestions

The kids are out of school, summer is in full swing, and the question on everyone's mind is, "What do we do?" Well, here are a few suggestions from your favorite Texan.

1. The Beach
Unfortunately not everyone is blessed to live in a state on the coast of the United States, but if you do load up the kids and head to the beach. The beach is always a great family friendly getaway that doesn't cost anything but gas. If your husband or boyfriend likes to fish then throw in the poles for him, load up a bucket and shovel for the kids, and a beach umbrella with your favorite magazines or books for you then you're ready for a day full of fun. Don't forget to pack the coolers with sandwich fixings, juice, and TONS of water because it's HOT outside. Now, if you're living the single life you can enjoy the beach too just load up your car with some of your gal pals in your hottest bathing suits and be prepared to turn the heads of that car full of single guys parked next to y'all.

2. Water Parks
Now if you're like me and water where you can't see your feet freaks you out, or you live in one of those states that doesn't have a beach then the local water park is your next best option! This option is a little more expensive if you have kids but you can always go to your local grocery store to pick up a gift card or buy tickets at a lower price. My favorite water park are those that are attached to a theme/amusement park so you get more bang for your buck; you can get all hot and sweaty riding rides then go cool off at the water park. If riding rides at an amusement park or water park isn't your thing then most water parks here in Texas come with a make shift river that you can hop in a tube and float around all day.

3. Swimming Pool
If you can't find a beach or a water park then your next best option is the city pool, most city pools these days come with attractions like a pool slide, splash pad, and mushrooms for smaller children and Olympic style lanes for the advanced swimmer. For a small admission fee you can play & splash in the water ALL day long.

4. Aquarium or Zoo
If water isn't really your thing or you have small small children and you're afraid to take them around water attractions then your next best option is an aquarium or the zoo. Yes it's a lot of walking, and yes it's hot outside, and yes it's smelly but it's a cost-friendly trip that will tire the kids out and make them ooohhhh and ahhhhh. I'm a big kid at heart and love to see the animals especially the zebras so I have no problem going to the zoo by myself, but if you're self-conscious about being the only adult at the zoo by yourself then grab your favorite niece/nephew or godchild and take them to see the animals at the zoo. You can make it more fun by pointing out the animals from their favorite cartoon show or movie.

Sorry for posting sooo late guys but I've been a tad bit busy having a little summer fun of my own. If you need more tips or hints feel free to contact me at my email address: carkurviekulture@gmail.com. Oh and kurvies remember, whatever you decide to do this summer make sure that you keep plenty of water on hand and stay hyrdated, especially if you're living in some of the Southern states!

LA's TIPS & TRICKS to KEEP YOUR FLAME LIT!

HEY KURVIES AND KURVIE ADMIRERS! THIS POST IS SOLEY FOR THE 18+ CROWD!

Have you ever intentionally made love with your clothing on? Does the idea of the lights being on horrify you? With this 2 part ENTRY hopefully I can assist you in changing that!
Some of us love it, some of us want it but are scared to say so, and some of hate the idea of taking our clothes off PERIOD! Sex is one of the most intimate experiences in the world. It’s a beautiful sharing of energy and passionate expressions. YET it can be a total nightmare for some of us.

Before you can truly express yourself with a partner you have to first love your nakedness. I suggest standing in front of the mirror, starting with your face and tell yourself something you love about your face. Next remove your clothing piece by piece and find something beautiful about every part of your body. Then stand there in the mirror, do a few spins and really admire yourself. Dont be quick to throw on your clothing, admire yourself until you a truly able to love everything you see. If your not proud of what you see, your partner will feel the same way, thus ruining the sexual experience. Once you are comfortable with yourself the possibilities are endless!!

Sex and positions: The first tip I can give is that you must feel comfortable with your partner. When you’re comfortable your partner is comfortable and the sex becomes incredible.

The basic and easiest position is missionary. If you do not know here's the explanation: The woman lies on her back and the male does the work. From this angle you look smaller and your tummy looks flat due to you lying on your back. To the ladies that are willing to go a little further lift your pelvis off the bed and you slide up and down. It’ll mix up the usual missionary position, it also give you control of the speed and depth!

Second position is doggy style: with your back arched the male enters you from behind. Your stomach is not visible and you may feel more comfortable with out your stomach being seen. If you are a little more experienced have your partner stop "pumping" and you move your back and backside. DO some work he will appreciate and you'll enjoy controlling the speed and depth of the entrance. If your not sweating your not doing your job ladies!

Reverse cowgirl: Similar to the doggy style in the sense that you are not facing your partner. You a riding him with your back turned to his face. With this position you can also control the speed of the "ride" . Another tip is to tighten you vaginal walls as you  control your speed. This will provide a pulsating sensation for him. If you are willing to go a little further tie up your partner using something as simple as a tie or belt.

Im sure there is a special name for this last position but Im not sure of it. You lie flat on your stomach and the male enters from behind! He can get some stability by placing his hands on the small of your back OR pinning down the back of your neck to the bed. I suggest purchasing a restraining kit for your local sex shop. Have your partner tie your arms and feet to the bed. This makes this position extremely exciting. You can turn it to a game by trying to escape.

Last and certainly not least of the simple positions is Side ways. You lay on one of your hips and he enters from the side. You can make this one exciting by taking a neck tie and placing it around his neck and when you want him to go deeper pull on the tie. Remember ladies it’s the little things J.

One thing you must remember is sex is more than just insertion. If you stimulate all five senses the orgasms will be intense.  Remember taste, smell, sight, touch, and sound.. Email me and ill teach you how to stimulate all of them in one act!

Ladies grab a bag and fill it up with goodies. Keep it close to the bed or in the closet. A sex toy of your choice, tongue vibrators, BJ rocks, lubricants (flavored and not flavored), ben wa balls, restrainers, blindfolds, paddle, whip, handcuffs, nipple stimulants, condoms..etc those are just a few things!

I also suggest taking your pleasure time out of the bedroom. Try the car, movies, park, beach, etc.  Another important suggestion is to discuss with your partner about your likes and dislikes. Teach him how to please you and you do the same for him. Sex should always be fun and exciting, and never a jaunting task..
